Maryland Anne Arundel County to
wit I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may Concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a mulatto woman named Ruth Howard aged about twenty two years about five feet two Inches high bright Complexion has long straight hair no perceptible mark is the Identical person manumitted by Philip Harwood by deed dated the sixth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and twenty two, and that she was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 6th day of February 1822 Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a mulatto man named Thomas Brashears aged about twenty two years about five feet seven and an half Inches high light Complexion a small scar in the forehead over the left eye was free born, and raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 7th day of February 1822 Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may Concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a mulatto man named George (Commonly called George Mayes) aged about thirty six years about five feet seven Inches high light Complexion a small scar over the left eye and a mole in the left whisker is one of the persons manumitted by John O L Jones by |
