150 of the persons manumitted by William Brewer by and dated the twenty third day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and nineteen, and that she was raised in Calvert County Issued the 23d day of October 1819 Anne Arundel County to wit I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named Peter Parker aged about twenty one years about five feet six Inches high, brown Complexion has three scars upon the right arm and one upon the back of the head was free born and raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 30th day of October 1819 Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named Cadwallader Brooks aged about twenty five years about five feet seven Inches high black Complexion has a scar on the first joint of the left thumb and another on the under part of the right wrist was free born and raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 5th day of November 1819 Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro woman named Susannah Parker aged about twenty two years about five feet two Inches high brown Complexion and crippled in the left hand (occasioned by a burn) was free born and raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 9th day of November 1819 |
