Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit:  I hereby
Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it
hath been proved to my satisfaction that the
bearer hereof named Anthony aged about twenty
four years about five feet Eleven Inches high
a dark mulatto and has two scars on the right
foot is one of the persons manumitted by Margaret
Hopkins by deed dated the twentieth day of
August in the year of our Lord one thousand
Eight hundred and thirteen, that his freedom
Commenced on the first day of January Eighteen
hundred and seventeen, and was raised in
montgomery County
       Issued the 27th day of September 1819


Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit:  I hereby
Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that
it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the
bearer hereof a negro man named Benjamin Bacon
aged about thirty years about five feet three and
an half Inches high, black Complexion has a
scar on each of his little fingers is the Identical
person manumitted by Joseph R Hopkins by
deed dated the twenty fifth day of September in the
year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred
and nineteen
       Issued the 28th day of September 1819


Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit:  I hereby
Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that
it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the
bearer hereof a negro woman named Fanny
Williams aged about thirty nine years about
five feet three Inches high black Complexion
has a scar upon the back of the head, is one
