Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit:  I hereby
Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it
hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer
hereof a negro man named Ignatius or Nace Hanson
aged about forty four years about five feet one Inch
high black Complexion a small scar on the left
wrist is the Identical person manumitted by Mary
Merriken by deed dated the seventh day of April in
the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred
and seventeen; and that the said negro man Ignatius
or Nace was raised in the County aforesaid
        Issued the 8th day of April 1819


    Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit:  I hereby
Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it
hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer
hereof a negro woman named Sarah Parker aged about
forty years about five feet four and an half Inches
high dark Complexion a scar on the left wrist
and another on the left cheek was free born;
and that the said Sarh Parker was raised in
the County aforesaid
        Issued the 8th day of April 1819


Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit: 
                I hereby Certify that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named
Tom aged about thirty five years, about five feet seven
Inches high black Complexion a remarkable scar about
the right Eye and another upon the back of the right
hand is the Identical person manumitted by Charles
W Dorsey by deed dated the tenth day of April in the year
of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and nineteen, and
that the said negro man named Tom was raised in the
County aforesaid      Issued the 19th day of April 1819
