I Thomas T Simmons Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby
Certify and Attest that it appears from the last will and testament
of Mary Wilson late of the Anne Arundel County dec.d That She did by
her said Will Manumit liberate and set free a Negro Girl by the
Name of Violet Downs and it being proved to my satisfaction That
She is the Identical Person as freed by said Will I do hereby Certify
That she is in height five feet three and a half Inches is about the age
of twenty four years Dark Complexion and was freed by the last Will
and testament of Mary Wilson on the tenth day of March 1830
was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a scar on the nose
    In testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and Affixed the
seal of my office this thirtieth day of November in the year of our
    (Seal)    Lord Eighteen hundred & thirty

Will, I do Certify That She is in height five feet is about the
age of twenty three years Dark Complexion and was freed by the
last Will and testament of Mary Willson on the tenth day of March
eighteen hundred & thirty was raised in Anne Arundel County and has
a small scar on the left Cheek
                In testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and
    (Seal)   Affixed the seal of my office this thirtieth day of
                November eighteen Hundred & Thirty

I Thomas T Simmons Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do
hereby Certify and Attest that it appears from the last Will and Testament
of Charles Boone late of the County aforesaid deceased that he did by his said
Will manumit Liberate and Set free a negro Boy by the name of James
Hanson and it being proved to my satisfaction that he is the Identical
person as freed by said Will I do certify that he is in height five feet
ten and an half Inches is about the age of Thirty five years dark
complexion and was freed by the last Will and Testament of the said Charles
Boone on the Eleventh day of March Eighteen hundred and fourteen
was raised in Anne Arundel county and has a Moal under the left Eye
