                      In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and affixed the
    (Seal)         seal of my office this Twentieth day of November in the year of

I Thomas T Simmons Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County
do hereby Certify and attest that it appears from the last will and Testament
of Benjamin Ward late of the county aforesaid deceased that he did
by his said will manumit Liberate and set Free a Negro Girl by the name
of Eliza and it being proved to my satisfaction that she is the identical
person as freed by said will I do certify that he is in height four
feet nine and ¾ inches is about the age of Eighteen years dark complexion and
was freed by the last Will and Testament of the said Benjamin Ward on
the Eighth day of February Eighteen hundred and fifteen was raised in Anne
Arundel County and has a slight scarr on her left hand
                                In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and
            (Seal)           affixed the seal of my office this twenty third day of
                                November in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and thirty

I Thomas T Simmons Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby Certify that
and Attest That it Appears from the last Will and testament of
Elizabeth Hood late of Anne Arundel County aforesaid dec.d That She did
by his said Will Manumit Liberate and set free a Negro Man by
the name of Thomas Johnson and it being proved to my satisfaction
That he is the Identical person as freed by said Will I do hereby
Certify That he is in height five feet eight Inches is about the age of
Thirty years Black Complexion and was freed by the last Will and
testament of Elizabeth Hood on the sixth day of April eighteen Hundred
and twenty six was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a
on the left Cheek and over each eye and every Thick lips
                        In testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand
                        and affixed the seal of my Office this Twenty seventh
            (Seal)   day of November in the year of our Lord
                        one Thousand eight Hundred and Thirty
