I Thomas t Simmons Register of wills for Anne Arundel
County do hereby certify and attest that it appears from the
last will and testament of Rezin Hammond of Philip late of
the County aforesaid deceased that he did by his said will
manumit liberate and set free a negro man by the name
of Saul and it being proved to my satisfaction that he
is the identical person as freed by said will I do certify that
that he is in height about five feet eight inches and is about
the age of twenty one light complexion and was freed by
the last will and testament of the said Rezin Hammond
of Philip on the Tenth day of July eighteen hundred &
Eight was raised in Anne Arundel county and has
a perceptable scar on his nose immediately below his
eyes
        In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand
                            and affixed the seal of my Office this
                            15 day of October in the year of our
            (seal)        Lord eighteen hundred and twenty

I Thomas T Simmons Register of wills for Anne Arundel County
do hereby Certify and attest that it appears from the last will and testament
of Eleanor Maccubbin late of the County aforesaid deceased that she
did by her said will manumit Liberate and set free a negro woman
by the name of Lucky and it being proved to my satisfaction that
she is the Identical person as freed by said will I do Certify that
she is in height five feet is about the age of thirty three years Dark
Complexion and was freed by the last will and testament of the
said Eleanor Macubbin dated on the 5th day of October 1828 was
raised in Anne Arundel county and has a scar on her right
arm and one on her neck
    In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and affixed
        (seal)        the seal of my office this 25th day of October 1828
