    I Thomas H Hall Register of wills for Anne Arundel County
do hereby certify and attest that it appears from the last will and
testament of Nathaniel Chew late of the County aforesaid deceased
that he did by his said will manumit liberate and set free a negro
man by the name of Jim and it being proved to my satisfaction
that he is the Identical person as freed by said will I do certify
that he is in height Five feet six inches and three quarters is about
the age of forty years Dark Complexion and was freed by the
last will and testament of the said Nathaniel Chew dated on
the 30th day of May 1826 was raised in Anne Arundel County
and has a scar over his right Eye brow and has a scar on
Each side of his left wrist
    In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and
                    affixed the seal of my office this 19th day of
                    July in the year of our Lord

and testament of Henry Duvall late of the county aforesaid
deceased that he did by his said will manumit Liberate and set
free a negro woman by the name of Rebecca and it being
proved to my satisfaction that she is the identical person as
freed by said will I do Certify that she is in height four
feet four inches and a half is about the age of Twenty Seven
years dark Complexion and was freed by the last will
and testament of the said Henry Duvall dated on the 5th day
of June 1822 was raised in Anne Arundel County and has
a scar on her left wrist and one on her right arm
    In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and
                affixed the seal of my office this 25th day of July
                in the year of our Lord 1828
