will manumit Liberate and set free a negro man by the name
of Dick and ^it^ being proved to my satisfaction that he is the

he is in height five feet seven inches and a half is about the age of

last will and Testament of the said Henrietta Hall Dated on

perceivable marks

I Thomas H. Hall Register of wills for Anne Arundel
County Do hereby Certify and attest that it appears
from the last will and Testament of Henrietta Hall
late of the County aforesaid Deceased that she Did
by her said will manumit Liberate and set free
a Negro Man by the Name of Sam and it being
proved to my satisfaction that ^he^ is the Identical person as
freed by said will I Do Certify that he is in height five
feet two inches and three quarters is about the age of
forty years Dark Complexion and was freed by the last
will and Testament of the said Henrietta Hall Dated on the
sixteenth Day of January eighteen hundred and twenty
eight was raised in Anne Arundel County has
one scar on his left Cheek and one on the fore finger
on the right hand
    In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand
                and affixed the seal of my office this 5th Day
                of April in the year of our Lord eighteen
                hundred and twenty eight
