I Thomas H Hall Register of wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby
Certify and attest that it appears from the last will and Testament of
Joshua Toogood late of the County aforesaid Deceased that he did by his said
will manumit liberate and set free a negro man by the name of Ellick and
it being proved to my satisfaction that he is the identical person as freed by
the said will I do Certify that she is in height Five feet seven inches and and
half inch is about the age of twenty seven years dark complection and
was freed by the last will and Testament of the said Joshua Toogood dated
the 1 Day of September 1818 was raised in Anne Arundel County and
has a scar on the right Cheek
    In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and affixed the seal
                        of my office this 9th Day of October in the year of our Lord 1826

by the said will I do Certify that she is in height Five Feet Five inches and
one Half inch is about the age of thirty years dark Complexion and was
freed by the last will and Testament of Joshua Toogood dated the
1st Day of September 1818 was raised in Anne Arundel County has
no perceptible marks
    In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and affixed the seal
                    of my office this 9th Day of October in the year of our Lord 1826

proved to my satisfaction that she is the identical person as freed
by the said will I do Certify that she is in height five feet is about
the age of twenty two years dark Complection and was freed by the
last will and Testament of Joshua Toogood dated the 1st Day of
September 1818 was raised in Anne Arundel County has no
perceivable mark
    In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and affixed the seal
                   of my office this 9th Day of October in the year of our Lord 1826
