I Thomas H. Hall Register of wills for Anne Arundel
County Do hereby Certify and attest that it appears from
the Last will and Testament of Rezin Hammond late of
said County Deceased the County aforesaid Deceased that he did
by the his said will Manumit Liberate and set free a Negro
man by the Name of Dennis Savay, and it being proved to
my Satisfaction that he is the Identical person as freed by said
will I Do Certify that he is in height five feet eight Inches
is about the age of twenty two years yellow Complexion and
was freed by the last will and Testament of the said Rezin
Hammond bearing Date the tenth Day of July eighteen hundred
and eight was raised in Anne Arundel County and has
a Mark on his left thumb
    In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and
                 affix the seal of my office this fourth Day of
                 March in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred
                 and twenty five

and Testament of Col Rezin Hammond late of the County aforesaid
Deceased that he Did by his said Will, Manumit Liberate and set
free a Negro Man by the name of Jack and it being proved to
my Satisfaction that he is the Identical person as freed by said
will I Do Certify that he is in height five feet Seven Inches and a
quarter is about the age of forty years rather of a yellowish Complexion
and was freed by the last will and Testament of the said Rezin
Hammond bearing date the tenth Day of July eighteen hundred
and eight was raised in Anne Arundel County and has no
perceivable marks
   In Testimony whereof I hereto set my hand and
          affix the seal of my office this 7th Day of March
          in he year of our Lord 1825
