        I Benja  E Gantt Register Wills for Anne Arundel County do
hereby certify and Attest that it appears from the last will and
testament of Frances Bowden late of the county aforesaid deceased
that she did by her said will Liberate manumit and set free
a negro Girl by the name of Serena and it being proved to
my satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the Identical person
as freed by said will  I do Certify that She is in height five
feet about the age of Sixteen years very light Complexion
and was freed by the last Will and testament of Frances Bowden
dated Twenty first day of August 1843 has a mark on the
back of her left hand

        I Benja  E Gantt Register Wills for Anne Arundel
County do hereby certify and attest that it appears
from the last will and testament of William
brown of Ben late of the county aforesaid decsed
that he did by his said will manumit Liberate
and set free a negro man by the name of Tom
Baley and it being proved to my Satisfaction
that the bearer hereof is the identical person
as freed by said Will  I do Certify that he is in
height five feet six inches about the age of
thirty Eight years Dark Complexion and was
freed by the last Will and testament of Wm
Brown of Ben dated             day of May 1832 has
no marks

        I Benjamin  E Gantt Register Wills for Anne
Arundel County do hereby certify and attest that it
appears from the last Will and testament of Elizabeth Cowman
late of Anne Arundel County decesed that she did by her said
Will manumit Liberate and Set free a negro Boy by the
name of William Williams and it being proved to my Satisfaction
that the bearer hereof is the Identical person as freed by Said
will  I do hereby certify that he is in height five feet 5½ Incs
about the age of 25 years Dark complexion has a scar on the right
wrist Will dated 17 June 1834
                                                    Issued 22 April 1851
