            I Samuel Brown Jr Rg.r Wills A A County do hereby Certify
and attest that it appears from the Last will and testament of
James Maccubbin late of the County aforesaid deceased that
he did by his said Will Manumit Liberate and set Free a
negro Boy by the name of John T Gambrill and it being proved
to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the Identical person
as freed by said will  I do certify that he is in height five
feet five Inches is about the age of Twenty five years dark
Complexion and was freed by the last will and testament of
James Maccubbin dated Twenty Eighth day of January 1828
was raised in Anne Arundel County & has no perceptible scars
mark

            I Samuel Brown Jr Register of Wills for Anne Arundel
County do hereby certify and attest that it appears from the last
will and Testament of Polly Sappington late of the county aforesaid
deceased that she did by her said Will manumit Liberate and set
free a negro Boy by the name of Samuel Snell and it being proved
to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the Identical person as
freed by said will  I do certify that he is five feet Eight Inches
in height is about the age of thirty five years dark Complexion
and was freed by the last will and testament of Polly Sappington
dated first day of Oct 1823 was raised in Anne Arundel County
has no perceptible mark
                                    Issued 12 day of Feby 1844

            I Samuel Brown Jr Register of Wills for Anne Arundel
County do hereby Certify and attest that it appears from the
last Will and Testament of Charles Pettebone late of the
county aforesaid deceased that he did by his said Will
manumit Liberate and set free a negro Boy by the
name of Arthur Jones and it being proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof is the Identical person as freed by
said Will  I do certify that he is in heighth five feet
five & a half inches is about the age of thirty years
dark complexion, and was freed by the last Will and
Testament of the said Charles Pettebone dated the Tenth
day of August 1821 was raised in Anne Arundel County
& has a scar on the back of the right hand
