            I Samuel Brown Junr Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County
do hereby Certify and attest that it appears from the last will and testament
of Nicholas Owens of Isaac late of the county aforesaid deceased that he did
by his said will Manumit Liberate and Set Free a negro woman by the name
of Betty Wills and it being proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof
is the identical person as freed by said will  I do Certify that she is
in height five feet is about the age of Forty years yellow Complexion
and was freed by the last will and testament of the said Nicholas Owens
of Isaac dated fifth day of October in the year 1825 was raised in
Anne Arundel County has no perceptible scars
                                                        Issued the 5 day of June 1843
                                                            Sam.l Brown Jr Regr Wills A A Coty

Arundel County do hereby Certify and attest that it appears
from the last will and Testament of Susannah Gambrill
late of the county aforesaid deceased that she did by her said will
Manumit Liberate and set Free a Negro man by the name
of Jerry Chase and it being proved to my satisfaction that the
bearer hereof is the Identical person as Freed by said will  I do
Certify that he is in height five feet three Inches is about
the age of Thirty Eight years Dark complexion and was freed
by the last will and testament of the said Susannah Gambrill
dated the Twentieth day of May 1823 was raised in Anne
Arundel County has no perceptible scars
                                        Issued the 21.st day of July 1843

            I Samuel Brown Jr Register of Wills for Anne
Arundel County do hereby Certify and attest that it appears
from the last will and testament of Susannah Gambrill
late of the county aforesaid deceased that she did by her said
will manumit Liberate and set free a negro man by the name
of Lewis Chase and it being proved to my satisfaction that
the bearer hereof is the Identical person as freed by said will 
I do Certify that he is in height five feet nine & ¾ Inches
is about the age of Twenty four years yellow complexion and
was freed by the last Will and testament of the said Susannah
Gambrill dated 20th day of May 1823 was raised in Anne
Arundel County has no perceptible scars
                                        Issued the 21st day of July 1843
                                            Sam.l Brown Jr Rg Wills A A Coty
