by the last will and Testament of the said John B. Burgess dated
the Twenty seventh day of March 1815 was raised in Anne Arundel
has a scar on the left side of the forehead
This certification was destroyed              Issued the 15 day of August 1842
by fire the 16.th Dec 1844   a                    Sam.l Brown Jr Rg Wills A A Cty
renewal the 5.th Sepr 1855
in the testimony of Teri Young


            I Samuel Brown Jnr Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County
do hereby Certify and Attest that it appears from the last Will and
testament of Brice J W Worthington late of the county aforesaid
deceased that he did by his said Will Manumit Liberate and
set Free a negro Girl by the name of Sophy and it being proved
to my Satisfaction that the Bearer hereof is the Identical person
as freed by said will  I do certify that she is in height five feet
one Inch is about the age of Thirty Two years dark Complexion
and was freed by the last will and Testament of the Said Brice
J G Worthington dated the Twentieth day of April 1826 was
Raised in Anne Arundel County has a scar in the right Eye Brow
                                        Issued the 4th day of October 1842

            I Samuel Brown Jn Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County
do hereby Certify and attest that it appears from the last Will and
Testament of Rezin Hammond late of the county aforesaid deceased
that that he did by his said will Manumit Liberate and Set free
a negro Girl by the name of Sarah and it being proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the identical person as Freed
by said Will  I do certify that she is in height five feet one ¼
inches is about the age of Thirty Two years dark Complexion
and was freed by the last Will and Testament of the said Rezin
Hammond dated the Tenth day of July Eighteen hundred and
Eight was Raised in Anne Arundel County has a scar on the
left wrist
                                            Issued the 10 day Octr 1842
