                                              Saml Brown Jun Reg Wills A. A. County


            I Samuel Brown Jun.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do
hereby Certify and attest that it appears from the last Will and Testament of Richard
Wills late of the County aforesaid, deceased, that he did by his said Will, Manumit, Liberate
and Set Free, a negro man by the name of Thomas Simms and it being proved to my
satisfaction that the Bearer hereof is the identical person as Freed by said Will.   I
do Certify that he is in height five feet 10¼ inches, is about the age of forty
years, dark complexion, and was Freed by the last Will and testament of the said
Richard Wells dated the third day of June Eighteen hundred and twenty six
was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a scar on the right side of his
forehead
                                            Issued the 21.st day of May 1839

            I Samuel Brown Jun.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby
Certify and attest that it appears from the last Will and Testament of William H. Scible
late of the County aforesaid, deceased, that he did by his said Will, Manumit, Liberate and
set Free, a negro woman by the name of Eliza Brown and it being proved to my
satisfaction that the Bearer hereof is the identical person as Freed by said Will.   I
do certify that she is in height five feet 3½ inches, is about the age of forty five
years, very bright complexion, and was Freed by the last Will and Testament of the
said William Henry Scible, without date and proved the 6.th day of May Eighteen hundred
and twenty six was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a scar on the left wrist
and one between the wrist and elbow of the left arm
                                                    Issued the 3.rd day of June 1839

            I Samuel Brown Jun.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County
do hereby certify and attest that it appears from the last Will and testament of
Richard Wells late of the County aforesaid, deceased, that he did by his said Will,
Manumit, Liberate and set Free, a negro man by the name of Pompey Simms
and it being proved to my satisfaction that the Bearer hereof is the identical person
as Freed by said Will.   I do certify that he is in height four feet eight
inches, is about the age of thirty seven years, dark Complexion, and was Freed
by the last Will and Testament of the said Richard Wells dated the twenty third
day of June Eighteen hundred and twenty Six was raised in Anne Arundel
County and has a scar on the back of his left hand
                                            Issued the 17.th day of June 1839
                                                   Sam.l Brown Jun Reg Wills A. A. County


            I Samuel Brown Jun.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do
hereby Certify and attest that it appears from the last Will and Testament of
Rezin Hammond late of the county aforesaid deceased, that he did by his said
will, Manumit, Liberate and set free, a Negro Girl by the name of Rachel daughter
of Milly) and it being proved to my satisfaction that the barer hereof is the
Identical person as Freed by said Will  I do certify that she is in height
five feet one & ½ Inches, is about the age of Thirty two years light complexion
and was Freed by the last Will and Testament of the said Rezin Hammond
