a Slight scar on his forehead Issued the Fourth day of March 1839 Saml Brown Jun Reg Wills A A County I Samuel Brown Jun.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby Certify and Attest that it appears from the last Will and Testament of Rezin Hammond late of the county aforesaid deceased that he did by his said Will, Manumit, Liberate and set Free, a Negro man by the name of Rill (the son of Nack) and it being proved to my satisfaction that the barer hereof is the Identical Person as freed by said Will I do certify that he is in height five feet six & an ½ Inches, is about the age of thirty years dark complexion, and was freed by the last Will and Testament of the said Rezin Hammond dated the Tenth day of July Eighteen Hundred and Eight was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a Scar on the neck and one near the left Eye Issued the second day of April 1839 Sam.l Brown Jun Reg Wills A A County I Samuel Brown Jun.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby Certify and Attest that it appears from the last Will and testament of Zachariah Pumphrey late of the county aforesaid, deceased, that he did by his said Will, Manumit, Liberate and Set Free, a negro woman by the name of Harriet (child of Comfort) and it being proved to my satisfaction that the Bearer hereof is the identical person as Freed by said Will. I do certify that she is in height five feet four inches, is about the age of twenty four years, dark complexion, and was freed by the last Will and Testament of the said Zachariah Pumphrey dated the tenth day of October Eighteen hundred and six was raised in Anne Arundel County and no perceptible marks Issued the Seventh day of May 1839 Sam.l Brown Jun Reg Wills A A County I Samuel Brown Jun.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby Certify and attest that it appears from the last Will and Testament of Sarah Davis late of the County aforesaid, deceased, that she did by her said Will, Manumit, Liberate and Set Free a negro woman by the name of Mary Larkins and it being proved to my satisfaction that the Bearer hereof is the identical person as freed by said Will. I do certify that she is in height five feet, is about the age of forty one years, dark Complexion, and was freed by the last Will and Testament of the said Sarah Davis dated the Eighteenth day of January Eighteen hundred and seventeen was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a large scar under her right eye Issued the Eighteenth day of May 1839 Sam.l Brown Jun Reg Wills A A County I Samuel Brown Jun.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby Certify and attest that it appears from the last Will and Testament of Rezin Hammond late of the County aforesaid, deceased, that he did by his said Will, Manumit, Liberate and set Free, a negro girl by the name of Eliza (daughter of Kate) and it being proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the identical person as freed by said Will. I do certify that she is in height five feet three inches, is about the age of thirty three years, dark complexion and was freed by the last Will and testament of the said Rezin Hammond dated the Tenth day of July Eighteen hundred and Eight was raised in Anne Arundel County |
