Arundel County do hereby Certify and attest that it appears from the last Will and Testament of Ariminta Harrison late of the county aforesaid deceased that she did by his said Will, Manumit, Liberate and Set Free a negro man by the name of John Brown and it being proved to my satisfaction that the barer hereof is the Identical person as freed by said will I do certify that he is in height five feet nine inches is about the age of forty years dark Complexion and was Freed by the Last Will and Testament of the said Ariminta Harrison dated the Seventh day of May Eighteen hundred and Seventeen was raised in Anne Arundel County and has no perceptible marks Issued the 23 day of October 1838 Sam.l Brown Jun Reg Wills A A County I Samuel Brown Jun.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby Certify and Attest that it appears from the last Will and Testament of Matilda Denny late of the county aforesaid that she did by her said will, Manumit, Liberate and set free, a Negro man by the name of Alfred Mack, and it being proved to my satisfaction that the barer hereof is the Identical person as Freed by said Will I do Certify that he is in height five feet 8½ Intches, is about the age of Thirty years, dark Complexion, and was Freed by the last Will and Testament of the said Matlida Denny dated the first day of November Eighteen hundred and Seventeen was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a Scar on the nose and one on the left lip and on the left side of the Head Issued the 12th day of November 1838 Sam.l Brown Jun Reg Wills A A County I Samuel Brown Jun.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby Certify and Attest that it appears from the last Will and Testament of Matlida Denny late of the County aforesaid deceased, that she did by her said Will, Manumit, Liberate and set Free, a Negro woman by the Name of Mable Griffith and it being proved to my satisfaction that the barer hereof is the identical person as freed by said will I do certify that he is in height five feet & ¼ of an Inch is about the age of Thirty Two dark Complexion, and was freed by the last will and Testament of the said Matilda Denny dated the first day of November Eighteen Hundred and Seventeen was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a small scar on her right wrist and a gethering on the 3rd finger of the left Hand Issued the 12th day of November 1838 Sam.l Brown Jun Reg Wills A A County |
