last Will and Testament of the said John Linstid dated the second day of December Eighteen hundred and Seventeen was raised in Anne Arundel County and has no perceptible scars Issued the 24.th day of July 1838 Sam.l Brown Jun Reg Wills A A County I Samuel Brown Jun.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby Certify and attest that it appears from the last Will and Testament of John Linstid late of the County aforesaid deceased, that he did by his said Will, Manumit, Liberate and Set Free, a Negro man by the name of Charles and it being proved to my satisfaction that the barer hereof is the identical person as Freed by said Will I do Certify that he is in height five feet 8¾ inches is about the age of Thirty two years, dark Complexion, and was Freed by the last Will and Testament of the Said John Linstid dated the Second day of December Eighteen hundred and Seventeen was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a bone felon on one of the fingers of his left hand Issued the 24th day of July 1838 Sam.l Brown Jun Reg Wills A A County I Samuel Brown Jun.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby Certify and attest that it appears from the last Will and testament of Thomas Woodfield late of the County aforesaid, deceased, that he did by his said Will, Manumit, Liberate and set Free, a negro girl by the name of Kitty (the child of Sall) and it being proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the identical person as Freed by said Will, I do certify that she is in height five feet, is about the age of thirty five years, dark complexion, and was freed by the last Will and testament of the said Thomas Woodfield dated the Twelfth day of November Eighteen hundred and thirteen was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a scar near the right temple and several Scars on the back of the right hand Issued the 1.st day of September 1838 Sam.l Brown Jun Reg Wills A A County I Samuel Brown Jun.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby Certify and attest that it appears from the last Will and testament of Richard Merriken late of the County aforesaid, deceased, that he did by his said Will, Manumit, Liberate and set free, a negro man by the name of Jacob Guest and it being proved to my satisfaction that the Bearer hereof is the identical person as freed by said Will, I do certify that he is in height five feet Eight inches, is about the age of forty nine years, dark complexion, and was freed by the last Will and Testament of the said Richard Merriken dated the twenty Ninth day of July Eighteen hundred and fourteen, was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a tumor on the third finger and a scar on the little finger of the left hand Issued the 15.th day of September 1838 Sam.l Brown Jun Reg Wills A A County |
