age of twenty eight years, dark complexion, and was Freed by the last will and Testament of the said Elizabeth Childs dated the Tenth day of December Eighteen hundred and fifteen and was raised in Anne Arundel County and has scar under her right eye and one on her left Elbow Issued the 17th day of September 1835 Sam Brown Jun Reg Wills A A County I Sam.l Brown Jun.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby certify and attest that it appears from the last Will and Testament of Rezin Hammond late of the County aforesaid, deceased, that he did by his said Will, Manumit, Liberate and set free, a negro woman by the name of Lile and it being proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the identical person as freed by said Will. I do certify that he is in height five feet two inches, is about the age of thirty years, Black complexion, and was freed by the last Will and Testament of the said Rezin Hammond dated the tenth day of July Eighteen hundred and Eight and was raised in Anne Arundel County she has her little finger on the right hand crooked, a scar on her right arm and one on the left Issued the 22d day of September 1835 Sam.l Brown Jun.r Reg Wills A. A. County I Samuel Brown Jun.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby certify and attest that it appears from the last Will and Testament of Nathaniel Chew late of the county aforesaid, deceased, that he did by his said Will, Manumit, Liberate and set free, a negro man by the name of Cesar and it being proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the identical person as freed by said Will. I do certify that he is in height five feet seven inches, is about the age of thirty five years, dark complexion, and was freed by the last Will and testament of the said Nathaniel Chew dated the thirtieth day of May Eighteen hundred and twenty five and was raised in Anne Arundel County & has a scar over the left eye & 2 scars on the left ear Issued the 10th day of November 1835 Sam.l Brown Jun.r Reg.r Wills A. A. County Sam.l Brown Jun.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby certify and attest that it appears from the Last will and Testament of Zachariah Pumphrey late of the County aforesaid deceased, that he did by his said will, Manumit, Liberate and set free, a Negro woman by the name of Mahala (issue of Rachel) and it being proved to my satisfaction that the Bearer hereof is the identical person as Freed by said will, I do certify that she is in height five feet one inch is about the age of twenty Eight years, dark complexion, and was freed by the last will and Testament of the said Zachariah Pumphrey dated the Tenth day of october eighteen hundred and six and was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a scar on both arms Issued the 18th day of November 1835 Sam Brown Jun Reg Wills A A County |
