I Thomas T. Simmons Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do
hereby Certify and Attest that it appears from the last will and Testament
of Absalom Anderson late of the County aforesaid, deceased, that he
did by his said will manumit Liberate and set Free a negro man by the
name of Addison and it being proved to my satisfaction that the Bearer
hereof is the identical person as freed by said will, I do Certify that he
is in height five feet Eleven inches is about the age of twenty six years,
Black Complexion, and was Freed by the last will and Testament of the
said Absalom Anderson dated the Twelfth day of December eighteen
hundred and twenty eight and was raised in Anne Arundel County and has
a scar under the left eye

    I Thomas T. Simmons Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do
hereby Certify and Attest that it appears from the last Will and Testament
of William Pitt Ridgely late of the County aforesaid, deceased, that he did by
his said will manumit Liberate and set free a negro woman by the name
of Betty and it being proved to my satisfaction that the Bearer hereof is the
identical person as freed by said will, I do Certify that she is in height
five feet two & ¾ inches is about the age of fifty seven years, light black
Complexion, and was freed by the last will and Testament of the said
William Pitt Ridgely dated the third day of march eighteen hundred and
fifteen and was raised in Anne Arundel County

hereby Certify and Attest that it appears from the last will and Testament
of John Brice Burgess late of the County aforesaid, deceased, that he
did by his said will manumit Liberate and set Free a negro woman
by the name of Rachel and it being proved to my satisfaction that
the Bearer hereof is the identical person as freed by said will, I do certify
that she is in height five feet one & an ½ inches is about the age of
thirty Six years, dark mulatto Complexion, and was freed by the last will
and Testament of the said John Brice Burgess dated the twenty seventh
day of march eighteen hundred and fifteen and was raised in Anne
Arundel County and has a scar on the corner of her right eye and one
on her forehead
