    I Thomas T. Simmons Register of Wills for Anne Arundel
County do hereby Certify and Attest that it appears from the last will
and Testament of Ephraim Duvall late of the County aforesaid,
deceased, that he did by his said will manumit Liberate and set free
a negro man by the name of Valentine Williams and it being proved
to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the identical person as
Freed by said Will, I do Certify that she is in height five feet 5 & ¾
inches is about the age of Sixty years, dark Complexion, and was
Freed by the last will and Testament of the said Ephraim
Duvall dated the twenty fifth day of March eighteen hundred and
Seven and was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a wen over
his right eye
                            In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand
        (Seal)           and affixed the Seal of my office this twenty first day of
                            May in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and thirty two

    I Thomas T. Simmons Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County
do hereby certify and Attest that it appears from the last Will and Testament
of Richard Jacob of Richard late of the County aforesaid, deceased, that he did
by his said Will Manumit Liberate and set free a negro man by the name
of Nat Jacob son of Hannah and it being proved to my satisfaction that the
bearer hereof is the identical person as freed by said Will, I do Certify that he is
in height five feet seven & an ½ inches is about the age of thirty nine years,
dark mulatto Complexion, and was freed by the last Will and testament of the
said Richard Jacob of Richard dated the fourteenth day of May Eighteen
hundred and two and was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a scar on
his left fore finger
                            In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and affixed
        (Seal)           the seal of my office this twenty third day of May in the year
                            of our Lord Eighteen hundred and thirty two

    I Thomas T. Simmons Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby certify
and attest that it appears from the last Will and testament of George Conoway late of the County
aforesaid, deceased, that he did by his said Will Manumit Liberate and set free a negro woman by
the name of Kate and it being proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the identical
person as freed by said Will, I do certify that she is in height five feet two & an ½ inches
is about the age of forty three years, dark Complexion, and was freed by the last Will
and testament of the said George Conoway dated the second day of April Eighteen hundred
and seven and was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a small scar under the
wrist of the right arm
                            In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and affixed the seal
        (Seal)           of my office this twenty third day of May in the year of our Lord
                            Eighteen hundred and thirty two

Note The original certificate dated the 14th day of August 1816 was this day renewed on parchment
         and the original retained by the Register
