proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the identical person as
Freed by said will I do Certify that she is in height five feet four &
an half inches is about the age of fourteen years, rather a light Complexion,
and was Freed by the last will and Testament of the said Sally Gaither
dated the Eighteenth day of December eighteen hundred and fifteen
and was raised in Baltimore County and has a scar under her right eye
and one on the corner of the left eye
                            In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and
        (Seal)           affixed the Seal of my office this twenty Eighth day of
                            April in the year of our Lord one Eighteen hundred
                            and thirty two

    I Thomas T. Simmons Register of Wills for Anne Arundel
County do hereby Certify and Attest that it appears from the
last Will and Testament of Sally Gaither late of the County
aforesaid, deceased, that she did by her said Will manumit
Liberate and set Free a negro boy by the name of Ephraim
the son of Nack and it being proved to my satisfaction that the
bearer hereof is the identical person as Freed by said will I do
Certify that he is in height four feet nine & an half inches is
about the age of thirteen years, rather light Complexion, and
was Freed by the last will and Testament of the said Sally Gaither
dated the Eighteen day of December eighteen hundred and
fifteen and was raised in Baltimore City and has a scar on his
forehead
                            In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand
        (Seal)           and affixed the Seal of my Office this twenty Eighth
                            day of April in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred
                            and thirty two

of Joshua Merriken late of the County aforesaid, deceased, that he did by his
said Will Manumit Liberate and set Free a negro woman by the name of
Luce and it being proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the
identical person as Freed by said will I do Certify that she is in height
four feet Eleven inches is about the age of fifty years, very black Complexion,
and was freed by the last Will and Testament of the said Joshua Merriken
dated the thirteenth day of February Seventeen hundred and ninety seven
and was raised in Anne Arundel County has a scar on the right cheek
