Arundel County Court do certify
that it has been proven to my
satisfaction that the Bearer hereof
named James Turner about five
feet five and a half inches in
height was born free and that
he was raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 9.th day of Decbr 1847








Mary Johnson
                            No 228

I Joseph H Nicholson Clerk of Anne
Arundel County Court do certify
that it has been proved to my
satisfaction that the Bearer hereof
named Mary Johnson about
four five eleven inches in height
was born free and that she was raised
in the County aforesaid
Issued the 9.th day of Dec.br 1847








Lewis Adams
                            No 229

Arundel County Court do certify
that it has been proven to my
satisfaction that the Bearer
hereof named Lewis Adams aged
about twenty five years about
five feet one inch in height of dark
complexion is one of the persons named in
a deed of manumission executed by
Nicholas J Watkins on the sixth day
of Decbr 1819 raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 9.th day of Decbr 1847
