412 this Bill of Sale this day paid one dollar being the duty chargeable by Law on this Instrument of writing the receipt whereof is hereon endorsed agreeably to the act of assembly passed at December Session 1846 chapter 61 Given under my hand this 2nd day of May 1850 Joseph H Nicholson Clk Recorded on the 2nd day of May 1850 Ex. d d d Co 62½cts due 25 cts
of the County aforesaid at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof I the said James Wells do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said James H Watkins of N his executors administrators and assigns all the goods household stuff implements and furniture hereinafter particularly mentioned, that is to say one Chickasaw Horse bought of Mrs Dorsett 1 grey mare 1 mule 1 bay Horse 1 pied cow named Fancy one roan cow named Sally one red and white cow named Blossom one calf one dozen chairs three Beds and bedsteads three pine tables two pair Andirons two pair Andirons two pair of shovel and tongs 1 clock Farming utensils one plow and gear one Horse Cart three hoes and three axes, To Have and To Hold all and singular the said goods stock Household stuff and furniture and other the premises above bargained and sold or mentioned and intended so to be to the said James H Watkins of N his executors administrators and assigns forever and I the said James Wells for myself my heirs executors and administrators all and ^said^ singular the said goods Horses stock Household and kitchen furniture and other the premises unto the said James H Watkins of N. his executors administrators and assigns against me the said James Wells my executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents of all and singular which said goods household stuff and furniture and other the premises I the said James Wells have put the said James H Watkins of N. in full possession by delivering to him the said James H Watkins of N. the chickasaw Horse above mentioned at the sealing and delivery of these presents in the name of the whole |
