and singular the goods household and kitchen furniture hereinafter particularly mentioned
and expressed to wit five Bedsteads with their beds and bedding two mahogany
Bureaus one sideboard three wardrobes one dozen cane bottom chairs one and a
half dozen common chairs two mahogany tables one walnut table one cherry table
four work stands three looking glasses mirrors one brass worked clock three stoves on
large cooking stove two english carpets one oil cloth ditto one common do and one
fine milch cow all and singular which said goods and chattels household and
kitchen furniture are now in remaining and being in my possession a certain
messuage or tenement situate in Annapolis City aforesaid and now in the occupation
and possession of the said James Jones:   To Have and to Hold all and singular
the said goods and chattels household stuff and furniture and other the premises
above bargained and sold or mentioned and intended so to be the said John Basil
Jr his executors administrators and assigns forever of all and singular which
said goods and chattels household stuff and furniture and other the premises I the
said James Jones have put the said John Basil Jr in possession by delivering to
him the said John Basil Jr. one wardrobe at the sealing and delivery of these
presents in the whole premises hereby bargained and sold or mentioned and intended
so to be unto the said John Basil Jr as aforesaid.   In Witness whereof I hereto
set my hand and affix my seal on this seventeenth day of December in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty nine

State of Maryland Anne Arundel County sct   On this seventeenth of December in
the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty nine before me
the subscriber one of the state of Maryland Justices of the peace in and for Anne
Arundel County aforesaid personally appeared James Jones party grantor in the
aforegoing deed or instrument of writing and acknowledged the same to be his act
and deed for the purposes therein mentioned:   also at the same time and place
personally appeared John Basil Jr. party grantee therein named and made oath
on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God that the consideration set forth in the
aforegoing Bill of Sale is "true and bona fide" as therein set forth
             Acknowledged and sworn before        J W Hunter
Recorded on the 5.th day of January 1850

Weems Ridout
         to
Alexander Randall
This Indenture made this thirty first day of December in
the year eighteen hundred and forty nine between Weems
Ridout of Anne Arundel County & State of Maryland of the
one part and Alexander Randall of the said County and state
of the other part   whereas the said Weems Ridout is indebted to the said Alexander
Randall in the sum of five hundred dollars for which the said Ridout Horatio Ridout
of H & Samuel Ridout of H having given their joint and several bond to the said Alexander
