363 before me and signing sealing and acknowledging said instrument of writing is the identical person named and described as and professing to be party grantor to the same Acknowledged before & certified by R. C. Hardesty State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit On this twelfth day of September in the year eighteen hundred and forty nine before the subscriber a Justice of the peace of the State of Maryland in and for said County personally appeared the within named Frank H. Stockett grantee to the foregoing instrument of writing and made oath that the consideration set forth in said instrument of writing is true and bona fide as therein set forth Sworn before J W Hunter Anne Arundel County to wit I certify that Frank H Stockett grantee has this day paid one dollar being the duty chargeable by law on this instrument of writing the receipt whereof is hereby endorsed agreeably to the act of assembly of December session 1846 chap 61 Given under my hand this 12th day of September 1849 Jos H Nicholson Clk Recorded on the 12.th day of September 1849 Cost $1.10
indebted unto the said William B. Tyler in the just and full sum of seven hundred dollars current money and has executed his single bill for the same upon stamp paper agreeably to law bearing date the twelfth day of September 1849 and payable one year after date to said William B. Tyler or order with interest from date and to secure the payment of said sum of money and the interest thereon unto him the said William B. Tyler the said William C. Tyler hath agreed to execute these presents. Now this Indenture witnesseth that the said William C Tyler for and in consideration of the premises aforesaid and the further sum of one dollar current money to him in hand paid by the said William B. Tyler at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell unto the said William B. Tyler his heirs and assigns all the following described personal property negroes &c &c viz Minty aged forty six Rezin aged twenty three Henry aged eighteen Charles aged nine Anne aged forty and her two children girls Sophia aged eight and Clera aged six all which said described personal property negroes &c are in the possession of the said William C. Tyler To Have and to Hold the said described personally property negroes &c unto him the said William B. Tyler his heirs and assigns to the only proper use and behoof of the said William B.
