To Have and to Hold the said described negro boy "Lewis" ^untill^ the first day of May eighteen hundred and seventy four but no longer to the said Isaac C. Anderson his executors administrators & assigns. In Witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and affixed our seals on the twenty eighth day of April eighteen hundred and forty nine Signed sealed and delivered F. G. Be it remembered that on this twenty eighth day of April 1849 before the subscriber a Justice of the peace for said County personally appears Freeborn G Waters and Isaac C. Anderson and acknowledges the above instrument of writing to be their act & deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof Acknowledged before W H Dorsey At the same time personally appeared Isaac C. Anderson and made oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God that the consideration above mentioned was bona fide paid by him to the said F. G. sell unto the said John Jubb his executors administrators and assigns my negro slave named "Margaret" aged about two years.
