Charlottee Sprigg to serve the said Moses Sprigg until she arrive to the age
of twenty One years which will be in February in the year One thousand
Eight hundred and sixty two and from thence free and to be liberated
freed and discharged from all manner of servitue to me the said John
W. Whittington my heirs Executors and Administrators
    In Testimony whereof the said John W Whittington and Moses Sprigg
have hereunto respectively set their hands and affixed their seals this seventh
day of May Eighteen hundred and forty Seven

and forty six before the subscriber a Justice of the peace of the said State in and
for said County John W. Whittington and Moses Sprigg personally appeared
and Acknowledged the aforegoing instrument of writing to be their respective
Act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned

Bill of Sale from Henry
M. Leitch

W.m F. Leitch

Know all men by these presents that I Henry M.
Leitch of Anne Arundel County in the state of Maryland
for and in consideration of the sum of Ninety
three dollars and Seventy three cents current money
to me in hand paid by William F. Leitch of the County and state aforesaid at
and before the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof
I the the said Henry M Leitch do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained
and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the
said William F. Leitch his Executors administrators and assigns One
Bay Mare about five years old.  To Have and To Hold the said Mare above
bargained and sold or mentioned or intended so to be to the said William
F. Leitch his executors administrators and assigns forever and I the
said Henry M Leitch for myself my heirs executors and administrators
all and singular the said Mare unto the said William F. Leitch his executors
administrators and assigns against me the said Henry M Leitch my
executors and administrators and against all and every other person or
persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these
