property above bargained and sold to the said Leonard Mallonee his executors
administrators and assigns forever to his and their only proper use and benefit
And I the said Brice Mallonee for myself Executors and administrators shall
and will warrant and forever defend by these presents to the said Leonard
Mallonee his Executors administrators and assigns the said described property
against me my Executors and administrators and against all and every
other person or persons whomsoever claiming the same or any part thereof
In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this
seventeenth day of April eighteen hundred and forty seven

       At the foot of the foregoing was thus written to wit

On this 17.th day of April 1847 personally appears before the Subscriber a
justice of the  peace in and for said state and County Brice Mallonee he being
known to me to be the person who is named and described and and professing
to be a party to the foregoing deed and doth acknowledge the
said indenture or instrument of writing to be his act and deed.  In
testimony whereof I hereto set my hand the day and year before written

Lucius Manwaring to Richard
Weems Bill of sale dated the
9.th day of December 1847
I Lucius Manwaring of the town of
Coventry County of Chenango and
State of N Y do hereby sell transfer
and make over to Richard Weems of
Anne Arundel Co State of Maryland and all my right and title to Coloured
man Henry Hoxton aged about 23 years late the property of J. S Whittington
deceased both of the place last above mentioned for and in consideration of
the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars the receipt whereof is hereby
conferred and acknowledged.  In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my
hand & seal this 9 day of December in the year of our Lord 1846

At the foot of the foregoing was thus written to wit
                            State of New York
                            Chenango County Ss
                                                             On this 9.th day of December 1846
personally came before me Lucius Manwaring known to me to be the person
above named and acknowledged that he executed the above conveyance
