and with as convenient dispatch send the same to the City of
Baltimore to some proper agent to be agreed upon between said
Griffith and myself my executors or administrators with directions
and authority to said agent to sell said crop and the proceeds
thereof to pay over to said Griffith his Executors administrators
or assigns for the purposes aforesaid  In Witness whereof I have
hereunto set my hand and seal this first day of July in the
year eighteen hundred and forty six

          Anne Arundel County to wit

    On this first day July in the year eighteen hundred and forty six
before me a justice of the peace in and for said county personally
appeared the above named Washington G. Tuck and acknowledged
the foregoing Instrument of writing to be his act and deed

Release of Mortgage from John
Sullivan & sons to Samuel
Augustus Clagett and Charles
Clagett dated the second day of
July eighteen hundred and forty six
                            
This Indenture      
made this second day of July in
the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and forty six between
John Sullivan Henry Sullivan
(State of Maryland)
(          one            )
(          Dol            )
(         stamp         )
and Francis Sullivan of the City of Baltimore trading under the
name style and firm of John Sullivan & sons of the one part and
Samuel Augustus Clagett and Charles Clagett of the County of Anne
Arundel of the other part.  Whereas the said Samuel Augustus Clagett
and Charles Clagett by their Indenture of mortgage bearing date on
or about the third day of June eighteen hundred and forty five duly
executed acknowledged and recorded in Liber J. H. N No 1 Folios 32 &s
one of the personal Deed Record Books of Anne Arundel County did
for and in consideration of the sum of fourteen hundred dollars
current money grant bargain and sell unto the said John Sullivan
& sons the survivor or survivors of them and their executors administrators
or assigns all the crops of tobacco and corn then in the Houses
on the farms lying in Anne Arundel County upon which the said
Samuel Augustus and the said Charles then resided and also for
the consideration aforesaid they the said Samuel Augustus and
Charles Clagett did grant bargain and sell unto the said John
Sullivan & sons the survivor or survivors of them their executors
