Executors and administrators all and singular the said goods household stuff and
furniture and other the premises unto the said Sam.l C Snowden his executors &.c &.c
against me the said Thomas Lancaster my Executors &.c &.c and against all and
every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and defend by these
presents of all and Singular which said goods household stuff and furniture and
other the premises I the said Thomas Lancaster have put the said Sam.l C Snowden
in full possession by delivering to him the said S C Snowden one table at the
sealing and delivering of these presents in the name of the whole premises hereby
bargained and sold or mentioned and intended to be so unto him the said S C
Snowden as aforesaid  In Testimony I have hereunto set my hand and affixed
my seal this twenty Eighth of December Eighteen hundred and thirty nine
Signed Sealed and delivered in
presence of   Tho.s Snowden         Thomas Lancaster   (seal)

                   At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit

Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit  On this twenty Eighth day of
December Eighteen hundred and thirty nine before me one of the Peace in and for
said County personally appears Tho.s Lancaster known to me personally as the
grantor in the above instrument of writing and acknowledges the foregoing
instrument of writing to be his act and deed according to the true intent and
meaning thereof and the act of assembly in such Case made and provided

5      Recorded the 14th day of January 1840


       Whereas Job Guest of Anne Arundel County in the State of Maryland
has by deed of Manumission bearing date on or about the Eighth day of January
Eighteen hundred and forty duly executed acknowledged and recorded
according to law liberated and set free his negro boy named Isaiah to take
effect from and after the first day of January Eighteen hundred and fifty two
reserving to himself in the mean time the use and services of the said negro boy
Now know all men by these presents that the said Job Guest for and in
Consideration of the sum of Two hundred and fifty dollars Current money
to him in hand paid by John S Selby who now is and for more than one year
last passed, has been a bonafide resident of the state of maryland the receipt
whereof he doth hereby acknowledge hath bargained sold assigned and
transferred and by these presents doth bargain sell assign and transfer
unto the said John S Selby his executors administrators and assigns
all his the said Job Guests right and interest in and to the said negro
boy for and during the period or term of Servitude by him reserved as aforesaid
                                                                                                    (that)
