267 D Lee his Executors administrators and assigns for ever and I the said William Journey for myself my heirs Executors and administrators the said personal property unto the said Thomas D Lee his Executors administrators and assigns against me the said William Journey my Executors and administrators and against all and every other person and persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and for ever defend by these presents In Witness whereof I the said William Journey have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty fourth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and forty three Signed Sealed and delivered in presence William J Jorney (seal) of Joseph N Brewer At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit Anne Arundel County Ss Be it remembered that on this twenty fourth day of July in the year one thousand Eight hundred and forty three personally appears William H Journey of Anne Arundel County the party grantor within named before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace for the said County and acknowledges the within deed or instrument of writing to be his act and deed and the household furniture therein mentioned and thereby bargained and sold to be the right and Estate of the within named Thomas D Lee party grantee also therein named his heirs Executors administrators and assigns for ever according to the purport true intent and meaning of the said deed or instrument of writing and the Acts of Assembly in such case made and provided Acknowledged before me chd Saml H Hamilton Exd d d 60 4¼ Recorded the 25th day of July 1843 State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit Know all men by these presents that I James H Jackson of Anne Arundel County and State of Maryland for and in consideration of the sum of fifty five dollars and seventy five Cents Current money to me in hand paid by John H Urquhart of the County and State aforesaid at and before the sealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said John H Urquhart his Executors administrators and assigns the following property vizt one sorrel mare about Eight years old and thirteen & a half hands high and one mare Colt of this Summers growth of the same Colour as the mare To have and To hold the same described property above bargained and sold to the said John H Urquhart his Executors administrators and assigns for ever to his and their only proper use and benefit and I the said James H Jackson for myself my Executors and administrators shall and will warrant & forever (defend) |
