255 planted and growing in the Ground and Ten bee hives with the bees and honey in them all which goods chattels and personal property are now in my possession To have and To hold the said Gelding Crop growing in the Ground and the hives bees and honey to the said James Iglehart his Executors administrators and assigns forever; and I the said Thomas W Stinchcomb for myself my heirs Executors and administrators the aforesaid sorrel gelding Crop growing in the Ground hives bees and honey to the said James Iglehart his Executors administrators and assigns against me the said Harriet W Stinchcomb my Executors and administrators and against all and every person and persons whomsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents Provided nevertheless that in case I the said Thomas W Stinchcomb shall pay and satisfy to the said James Iglehart or to his Executors administrators or assigns the sum of fifty four dollars and forty two Current money with Interest for the same on or before the first day of October next ensuing then this bill of sale and every matter and thing therein expressed shall be void and of none effect it being the true intent and meaning thereof that the sorrel Gelding the Crop growing in the Ground and the hives bees and honey are mortgaged by me the said Thomas W Stinchcomb to secure to the said James Iglehart the payment of the money aforesaid In Witness whereof I the said Thomas W Stinchcomb have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the 25 day of may 1843 Signed Sealed and delivered in presence of Thomas W Stinchcomb (seal) J H P Snowden Edward C Mills At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit On this 25 day of may 1843 before me one of the Justices of the peace in and for said County appears Thomas W Stinchcomb and acknowledges the foregoing writing to be act and deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof and the act of assembly in such case made and provided And I Certify that the said Thomas W Stinchcomb is known to me to be the Identical person signing and sealing the same R Welch of Ben chd 67 5 Recorded the 25th day of may 1843 Know all men by these presents that I John Dennis Littleford of Ann Arundel County in the State of maryland for and in consideration of the sum of Twenty dollars Current money to me in hand paid by William Young of Prince Georges County and State aforesaid at and before the sealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said William Young his Executors administrators and assigns the following (property) |
