          At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit

        State of maryland Anne Arundel County to wit  On this 20 day of April 1843
personally appeared Robert B Moss before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace in
and for the County and State aforesaid and acknowledged the foregoing deed or
instrument of writing to be his act and deed for the payment therein mentioned
according to the purport true intent and meaning thereof and the Acts of Assembly in
such case made and provided

4¾      Recorded the 21 day of may 1843


          Know all men by these presents that I James H Crandell of Anne
Arundel County and State of maryland for and in consideration of the sum of
one hundred dollars Current money to me in hand paid by Harriet Crandell of the
County and State aforesaid at and before the sealing and delivering of these presents
the receipt whereof I do hereby acknolege have granted bargained and sold and
by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Harriet Crandell her
Executors administrators and assigns two black horses aged about ten years
one rohne horse aged about nine years one bay horse aged about nine years
one two horse waggon and gears five large shoats and two brood sows
all which property is now in my possession  To have and To hold the same
described property above bargained and sold to the said Harriet Crandell her
Executors administrators and assigns forever to her and their only use and
benefit and I the said James H Crandell for myself my Executors and
administrators shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents
to the said Harriett Crandell her Executors administrators and assigns the
said described property against me my Executors and administrators and
against all and every other person or persons whomsoever claiming the same
or any part thereof  In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed my seal this twenty second day of may Eighteen hundred and forty three

           At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit

       Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit  On this twenty second day of
may Eighteen hundred and forty three before me one of the Justices of the
peace in and for said county personally appears James H Crandell and
