affixed my seal the twelfth day of may in the year of our Lord one thousand

             At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit

    State of maryland A A Co to wit  On this 12 day of may 1843 before me one of
the Justices of the peace in and for the said State and County aforesaid appeared Thomas
Boothe and acknowledged the foregoing writing or instrument to be his act and deed
according to the true intent and meaning thereof and the Act of Assembly in such ^a^ case
as made and provided               Done before        Lewis Sutton Sr

       This Indenture made this twentieth day of may in the year Eighteen
hundred and forty three  Between Robert B Moss of Anne Arundel County State
of maryland of the one part and Benjamin F Weedon of the other part  Whereas the
said Benjamin F Weston by deed of mortgage bearing date the Eighth day of may
Eighteen hundred and thirty nine duly Executed acknowledged and recorded in
Liber W S G No 2 folio 35d one of the personal deed record books of Anne Arundel
County did for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred and seventy nine
dollars did grant bargain and sell unto the said Robert B Moss his Executors
administrators and assigns a negro man named John a cow John Ringold
purchased by me of Frisby Weedon reference being had to the above recited deed of
mortgage will more fully and at large appear  And whereas the said Benjamin
F Weedon hath fully paid and satisfied him the said Robert B Moss the above
mentioned sum of money and the interest thereon he the said Robert B Moss doth
agree to Execute this instrument of writing as a full release of the above mentioned
property  Now this Indenture Witnesseth that the said Robert B Moss
for and in consideration of the payment of the above mentioned sum of money
and the Interest thereon and for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar
current money to him in hand paid by the said Benjamin F Weedon the receipt
whereof the said Robert B Moss doth acknowledge to be fully satisfied contented
and paid hath and by these presents doth give grant bargain and sell release
release and confirm unto the said Benjamin F Weedon his heirs and assigns for
ever the above mentioned negro boy John to the proper use and behoof of him the
said Benjamin F Weedon his heirs and assigns to and for no other use intent or
purpose whatsoever  In Witness whereof the said Robert B Moss heath hereto set
his hand and affixed his seal the day and date above mentioned
