250 bedsteads one Table half a dos Chairs half a dos Cups & Saucers half a doz knives & forks one Iron pot one Tea kettle two blankets half a dos spoons one dos plates one cow & hogs all and singular said goods and chattels are now remaining standing and being in a certain tenement at Patuxent forge and now in the occupation of the said Benj Carson To have and To hold all and singular the said goods household stuff and furniture above bargained and sold or mentioned and intended so to be to the said Elias Ellicott his Executors administrators and assigns for ever and I the said Benj Carson for myself my heirs and Executors administrators all and singular the said goods household stuff and furniture with unto the said Elias Ellicott his Executors administrators and assigns against me the said Benj Carson my Executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents of all and singular which said goods household stuff and furniture I the said Benj Carson have put the said Elias Ellicott in full possession by delivering to him the said Elias Ellicott one table spoon in the name of the whole premises hereby bargained and sold or mentioned and intended so to be unto him the said Elias Ellicott as aforesaid In Witness whereof the said Benj Carson has hereunto set his hand and seal this second day of January in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight hundred and forty three his Signed Sealed & delivered in the presence Benjamin x Carson (seal) of James Mewburn mark Exd d d chd 53 5½ Recorded the 21st day of April 1843 Know all men by these presents that I John S Selby of Anne Arundel County in the State of maryland for and in consideration of the sum of five dollars Current money to me in hand paid by Richard H Battee and William L Lowe of Baltimore City in the said State at and before the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof I the said John S Selby do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Richard H Battee and William L Lowe their Executors administrators and assigns all my Crop of Tobacco now on my farm in the County aforesaid To have and To hold the said Crop of Tobacco above bargained and sold or mentioned and intended so to be to the said Richard H Battee and William L Lowe their Executors administrators and assigns for ever and I the said John S Selby for myself my heirs Executors and administrators the said Crop of Tobacco unto the said Richard H Battee and William L Lowe their Executors administrators and assigns against me the said John S Selby my Executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and for ever defend by these presents (the) |
