249 Know all men by these presents that I Robert Williams of Anne Arundel County State of maryland for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars Current money to me in hand paid by Elias Ellicott of said County and State at and before the sealing of these presents the receipt whereof I the said Robert Williams do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Elias Ellicott his Executors administrators and assigns all the goods household stuff Iplements and furniture particularly mentioned that is to say Two beds two Cover lids Two bedsteads one Table half a dozen chairs half a Doz cups & sausers half a dos knives & forks one Iron pot one tea kettle two blankets half doz spoons one doz plates one cow and five hogs all and singular which said goods and chattles are now remaining standing and being in a certain tenement at Patuxent forge and now in the occupation of the said Rob.t Williams To have and To hold all and singular the said goods household stuff and furniture above bargained and sold or mentioned and intended so to be to the said Elias Ellicott his Executors administrators and assigns for ever And I the said Rob Williams for myself my heirs Executors administrators all and singular the said goods household stuff and furniture unto the said Elias Ellicott his Executors administrators and assigns against me the said Jno Johnson my Executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and for ever defend by these presents of all and singular which said goods household stuff and furniture I the said Robt Williams have put the said Elias Ellicott in full possession by delivering to him the said Elias Ellicott one table spoon in the name of the whole premises hereby bargained and sold or mentioned and intended so to be unto him the said Elias Ellicott as aforesaid In Witness whereof the said Robert Williams has hereunto set his hand and seal this second day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and forty three his Signed Sealed and delivered in the Robert x Williams (seal) presence of James Mewburn Exd d d chd 55 5½ Recorded the 21st day of April 1843 Know all men by these presents that I Benj Carson of Anne Arundel County State of maryland for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars Current money to me in hand paid by Elias Ellicott of said County and State at and before the sealing of these presents the receipt whereof I the said Benj Carson do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Elias Ellicott his Executors administrators and assigns all the goods household stuff implements and furniture particularly mentioned that is to say Two beds Two Cover lids Two (bedsteads) |
