          At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit

    State of maryland Anne Arundel County to wit  Be it remembered That
on this 26th day of November 1842 before the subscriber a Justice of peace for
the County and State aforesaid appeared Joshua Grimes Executor of Moses
Lawrence deceased and acknowledged the above instrument of writing to be
his act and deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof

          Know all men by these presents that I James Macoy of Anne Arundle
for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to me in hand
paid the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge bargand sod and delivered
and by these presents do burgain sell and deliver unto A W Chaney of the
said County following goods and chattles to wit  Three red Cowes one five years
old and two three yers old A mare nine yers old bey and white Coler  To have
and To hold unto the said A W Chaney his Executors administrators and
assigns forever  In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed my seal the third day of January Eighteen hundred and forty three

presents of      John Walsh

          At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit

    State of maryland Anne Arundel County sc  On this fourth day of
January 1843 personally appeared before me the subscriber a Justice of the
peace in and for said County James McCoy and acknowledged the aforegoing
bill of sale or instrument of writing to be his act and deed according to the
true intent and meaning thereof

       Know all men by these presents that I William Bryan of Anne
Arundel County and State of maryland for and in consideration of the sum of
three hundred dollars current money of the United States to me in hand paid by
Ann Elizabeth Duvall of the same County and State aforesaid the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained and sold and by these
presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Ann Elizabeth Duvall the
foregoing property which were heretofore conveyed to me by a bill of sale from
