127 do grant bargain and sell unto the said Richard C Hardesty his executors administrators and assigns one yoke of oxen Black, three Milch Cows one bay mare ten years old two bay colts three years old one ditto ditto one year old one Heifer two years old and one yearling all which property is now in my possession To have and To hold the said described property above bargained and sold to the said Richard C Hardesty his executors administrators and assigns forever to his and their only proper use and benefit And I the said Thomas N Stockett for myself my Executors and administrators shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents to the said Richard C Hardesty his executors administrators and assigns the said described property against me my executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever claiming the same or any part thereof In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the twenty ninth day of April Eighteen hundred and forty one Signed Sealed and delivered in his presence of Benj T Pindle Tho.s N x Stockett (seal) mark At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit On this twenty ninth day of April before me one of the Justices of the peace in and for the said County appears Thomas N Stockett and acknowledges the foregoing writing to be his act and deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof and the act of assembly in in such case made and provided Benja T Pindle Exd d d chd 48cts 3½ Recorded the 30th day of April 1841 State of Maryland Ann Arundel County to wit Know all men by these presents that George H Wood of the County and state of maryland and Ann Arundel County for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred & Thirty Dollars and seventy five cents Current money to me in hand paid by Richard Stallings of the County and state aforesaid at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof I the said George H Wood do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Richard Stallings his Executors administrators and assigns one sorrel horse Ten years old one black Cow and calf one Sow and Four shoats six months old Together with my Crop of Corn Oats and Tobacco which is to be raised this present year To have and To hold the said property as above named to the said Rich.a Stallings his Executors administrators and assigns forever and I the said George H Wood for myself my heirs Executors and administrators the aforesaid stock & crop above to the said Richard Stallings his Executors administrators and assigns against me the said George (H) |
