124 fine English Carpets three fenders three pair of Andirons three ^pair^ of shovels and tongs three hearth rugs three astra lamps eight window blinds fine mahogany tables one large per glass and two small two mantle ornaments two stoves one Sofa one bureau two wash ^stands^ and furniture, one large size mahogany bedstead one d.o poplar, three low maple bedsteads five beds and bedding one clothes horse one crib and one cradle one large desk two kitchen tables five iron posts two bakers and two ovens two watering posts ten stone jars ten milk pans five water tubs two frying pans wo Brittania Waiters to have and to hold all and singular the said property goods furniture household stuff herein before granted bargained and sold or mentioned or intended so to be unto the said Basil Shephard and Richard Swann their Executors administrators and assigns forever provided always and these presents are upon this Condition that if the said Jacob Basford his Executors or administrators shall and well and truly pay or cause to be paid to the said George G Brewer his Executors administrators or assigns the full sum of three thousand and three hundred dollars Current money with legal interest thereon according to the terms and provisions of said bond then and in such Case these presents and every matter and thing therein Contained shall cease determine and be utterly void to all intents and purposes anything herein Contained to the Contrary thereof Notwithstanding And the said Jacob Basford for himself his Executors and administrators all and singular the property goods furniture &c by these presents bargained and sold and every part thereof unto the said Basil Shephard and Richard Swann their executors administrators and assigns against him the said Jacob Basford his Executors and administrators and against all and every other person and persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend In Witness the said Jacob Basford hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year first written Jacob Basford (seal) At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit Maryland Sc Be it remembered that on this thirteenth day of April in the year Eighteen hundred and forty one before the subscriber of the state of maryland a Justice of the peace for Anne Arundel County personally appeared Jacob Basford party granter in the annexed instrument of writing and acknowledged the same to be his act and deed acknowledged before Wm Glover Exd d d chd $.83 7 Recorded the 14th day of April 1841 State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit Know all men by these presents that I Thomas B Crandle of the county and State aforesaid for and in consideration (of) |
