120 whereof is hereby acknowledged Have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said William McCurley his Executors administrators and assigns The following described property viz.t four feather beds bedsteads and bedding one dozen chairs one cooking stove one mahogany dinning table one pair brass andirons seven hundred weight bacon two ploughs one waggon one Horse Cart one ox Cart two yoke oxen one Black faced cow one brinde cow two Speckled Cows one red and white Yearling heffer one black yearling heffer one black Yearling Bull one Gray Mare one Bay Mare one Gray mare one gray horse one Bey horse Colt one dark iron Gray Mare colt thirty eight Shoats one sow and pigs three sows two cultivators To have and To hold the said described property to the said William McCurley his Executors administrators and assigns forever and I the said Thomas D Marriott for myself my heirs Executors and administrators the said above described property unto the said William McCurley his Executors administrators and assigns against me the said Thomas D Marriott my Executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 22nd day of March eighteen hundred and forty one Signed Sealed and Delivered in presence of Noah Ridgely T D Marriott (seal) At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit City of Baltimore Ss Be it Remembered That on this 22.nd day of march 1841 before the Subscriber a Justice of the peace for said City appears Thomas D Marriott and acknowledges the above Instrument of writing to be his act and deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof acknowledged before Exd d d Noah Ridgely chd 53 4 Recorded the 26th day of march 1841 This Indenture made this Seventh day of april in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and forty one between The Annapolis and Elkridge Rail Road Company of the one part and Betts Pusey and Harlan of the Town of Wilmington in the state of maryland of the other part whereas the said Annapolis & Elkridge Rail Road Company owes and stands justly indebted unto the said Betts Pusey and Harlan in the full and just sum of seven thousand two hundred and fifty six dollars and twenty three Cents Current money by its note dated the 29th day of march 1841 for one thousand and sixty one dollars and fifty Cents payable forty five days after date and by its five Several Notes each dated on the 31.st day of March 1841 each for five hundred dollars payable forty five days after date and on its note (dated) |
