M.cLane Brown
 Know all men by these presents
that I Zachariah Brown of the
City of Baltimore in the State of
maryland for and in consideration
and in compliance and at the
                      request of M.c Lane Brown of Howard County in said
                      State do and Re execute and acknowledge this instrument
                      of writing.  Now whereas I hold in trust for the usees
                      and profits of the said M.cLane Brown certain personal
                      property to wit:  All his personal estate with certain
                      negroes said property having been convey to me in trust
                      by the said M.c Lane Brown by Indenture bearing date
                      the eight  day of December eighteen hundred and forty
                      eight & recorded among the Chattle records of Howard
                      District of Anne Arundle County with the conditions
                      that I the said Zachariah Brown my heirs executors
                      administrators shoul  reconvey or convey the said
                      property with the said negroes therein mentioned as
                      he the said M.c Lane Brown shall or should direct
                            Now whereas the said M.c Lane Brown has desired
                      me to convey said negros & said property to him this
                      Instrument is executed and in consideration of the sum
                      of five dollars in hand paid me by the said M.c Lane
                      Brown of said Howard County before the sealing and
                      delivery of these presents the receipt whereof I hereby
                      acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and
                      conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain and
                      sell and convey unto the said M.c Lane Brown
                      his heirs executors and administrators all the personal
                      estate whatsoever of every kind maner maner and
                      description whatever I hold in trust for the said M.c
                      Lane Brown including the following negro slaves to wit:
                      Jane aged about thirty five years Charles aged about
                      twelve years and Frank Thomas aged about ten years
                          To Have and To Hold all and singular the said
                      property hereby conveyed to the said M.c Lane Brown
                      his executors and administrators forever and I hereby
                      warrant and defend the said above named negroes
                      against my heirs executors & administrators firmly
                      by these presents.   In Witness whereof I have
                      hereunto subscribed my  and affixed my seal this
                      twenty second day of July eighteen hundred and fifty four
