7 of these presents the receipt whereof I the said Noah Clark do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Mary Ross her executors administrators and assigns Leetha A Ross until January 17th 1868 and also Maria Ross until March 23 1870 at which date respectively they will be free or will appear by the records of A A County Court To Have and To Hold the said Leitha Ann and Maria above bargained and sold or intended so to be to the said Mary Ross her executors administrators and assigns until the 17th of January 1868 March the 23.d 1870 And I the said Noah Clark for myself my heirs and administrators the said girl Leitha Ann and Maria unto the said Mary Ross her executors Administrators and assigns against me the said Noah Clark my executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and for the time specified within defend by these presents In testimony whereof I the said Noah Clark have set my hand and seal the seventh day of January 1854 Noah Clark (seal) Signed sealed and delivered in the presents of W. H. Purdy Received of Mary Ross the sum John Reely of fifty seven dollars and fifty cents the amount set forth in this instrument as the price of the said girls Leitha Ann and Maria Witness Noah Clark Wm Purdy John Reely State of Maryland Ann ard County Sct Be it remembered and it is hereby certified that on this seventh day of January 1854 before me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for the County aforesaid personally appears Noah Clark he being well known to me to be the person who is amend and intended so to be and professing to be a party to the foregoing instrument and doth acknowledge the said Instrument of writing to be his act and deed In testimony whereof I hereunto subscribed my name the day and year aforementioned J. G Worthington On this twenty first day of January 1854 eighteen hundred and fifty four appeared before me Mary Ross the Grantee in the said bill of sale named and made oath that the consideration set forth in the said bill of sale is true and bonafide as therein set forth J G Worthington Recd to be recorded on this 3d day of Jany 1854 same day recorded & exam per W H Worthington clk |
