the said John Shorts do hereby acknowledge have
granted bargained and sold and by these presents
do grant bargain and sell unto the said Charles
D. Warfield his executors administrators and
assigns all the goods hereinafter particularly
mentioned that is to say one Sorrell Marr six
years old one one horse waggon and one red cow
all and singular which said goods and
chattels are now remaining standing and
being in a certain messuage or tenement situate
in Howard County and State aforesaid and
now in the occupation of the said John Shorts
To have and to hold all and singular the said
goods and other the premises above bargained
and sold or mentioned and intended so to be
to the said Charles D. Warfield his executors
administrators and assigns forever.  And
I the said John Shorts for myself my heirs
executors and administrators all and singular
the said goods and other the premises unto the
said Charles D Warfield his executors administrators
and assigns against me the said
John Shorts my executors and administrators
and against all and every other person or
persons whatsoever shall and will warrent
and by these presents forever defend of all
and singular which said goods and other
the premises I the said John Shorts have
put the said Charles D. Warfield in full
possession by delivering to him the said
Charles D. Warfield one Sorrell Marr at the
sealing and delivering of these presents in
the name of the whole premises hereby bargained
and sold or mentioned and intended so to be
unto him the said Charles D. Warfield
aforesaid.   In witness whereof I the said
John Shorts have hereunto set my hand and
seal this fourth day of November in the
year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and fifty
foure                                     his
