I hereby certify that on this 17th day of May Eighteen
hundred and sixty before the Subscriber a Justice of the peace
for Howard County aforesaid personally appeared George
W McBee and acknowledged the foregoing Bill of Sale to be
his act and at the same time came John Forrest and made
Oath in due form of law that the consideration in said bill of
Sale is bona fide and true as therein set forth
