date of these presents The freedom of John Thomas Dorsey
Peregrine Dorsey and James William Dorsey to commence
when they shall respectively arrive at the age of twenty one
years and the freedom of Mary Ellen Dorsey Georgianna
Dorsey and Margaret Dorsey to commence when they respectively
arrive at the age of Eighteen years
    Witness my hand and Seal this sixth day of February

Mary Haines
Manumission to
Eliza Brown
 I Mary Haines of Howard County
Maryland do hereby manumit
and set free my negro slave Eliza
Brown.  She being over ten and
under forty five years of age being of light complexion
of rather delicate appearance her freedom to commence
from the date of these presents she having been bequeathed
to me as part of the personal property of the late Amey
Howard if not previously manumitted
    Witness my hand and Seal this 6th day of March 1860
