full and just sum of Twenty five thousand dollars Current money to be paid to the said state or its certain attorney or assigns to which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves and each of us and our and each of our heirs, executors and administrators in the whole and for the whole jointly and severally firmly by these presents sealed with our seals and dated this eleventh day of November in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and fifty nine. Now the condition of the above obligation is such that if above bounden Littleton Maclin shall faithfully execute his office Treasurer of Howard County and well and truly account for and pay over to the Commissioners of Howard County the several sums of money which he shall receive or be accountable for at such times as the law directs then this obligation to be nul and void otherwise to remain in full force and virtue signed sealed & delivered Littleton Maclin (seal) in the presence of James Walters (seal) Joseph H Maclin Philip Smallwood (seal) Thomas B Hobbs William Welling (seal) witness to the Signature Henry Forsyth (seal) of H.
