Thomas B Hobbs
Register's Bond to
State of Maryland
Know all men by these presents that We Thomas B
Hobbs Nathan C Hobbs Walter Dorsey and Charles
D Warfield all of Howard County in the State
of Maryland are held and firmly bound  unto the
State of Maryland in the just and full sum of five thousand dollars
three hundred and thirty three dollars thirty three and one third cents current
money to be paid to the said state of maryland or its certain attorney
to which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind
ourselves and each of us our and each of our heirs executors and
Administrators jointly and severally firmly by these presents sealed
with our seals and dated this Eighteenth day of July in the year
of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty nine
    The condition of this obligation is such that if the above bounden
Thomas B Hobbs shall faithfully perform the office of Register
of Wills in and for Howard County then this obligation to be
void otherwise to be and remain in full force and virtue in

Wm Shipley
Insolvent Deed to
M. Bannon
This Indenture made this 5 day of
August in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and fifty nine
between William Shipley of Howard
County in the State of Maryland of the one part and M.
Bannon of Anne Arundel of the other part.  Whereas on
the application of the Said William Shipley to the Honorable
the Circuit Court of Howard County State of Maryland for
the benefit of the Act of Assembly for the relief of Insolvent
Debtors the Said Court on the Said 5 day of Aug appointed
the above named M. Bannon Trustee for the benefit of the
creditors of the Said                     and did order and direct
that the Said                     Should execute a deed to the Said
Trustee of all his property estate and effects and Should
deliver the Same to the Trustee together with his books, papers
accounts bonds notes and evidences of debt agreeably to the
provisions of the Act of Assembly in such Cases made
and provided.      Now this Indenture Witnesseth That
the Said William Shipley in pursuance of the premises and
in Consideration of one dollar Current money to be paid
