and forty six cents now due from the said Isaac and Louisa his
wife to John Forrest also of Howard County aforesaid the said Isaac
and Louisa as bargain and sell to the said John Forrest all the following
property to wit:  one black and white Buffolo cow three bedsteads
and mattrasses one Bureau three wash stands and ninety six
yards of Matting
            Witness our hands and seals this second day of August
Eighteen hundred and fifty nine

          State of Maryland Howard County to wit:
       I hereby certify that on this second day of August in the year
eighteen hundred and fifty nine before the subscriber a Justice of
the Peace in and for Howard County aforesaid personally appeared
Isaac S Strawbridge and Louisa his wife and acknowledged
the foregoing Bill of sale to be their act:  and at the same time
also appeared John Forrest and made oath in due form of
Law that the consideration mentioned in said bill of sale is
Bona fide and true as therein set forth

  Know all men by these presents that
 I Charles D Starkman of Howard
County in the state of Maryland in consideration
of one hundred dollars paid me
by George W Cook of Howard County in the same state do hereby
bargain and sell to the said George W Cook the following
property viz Two cows one greay mare Two Hogs, two calves
four beds and bedding two stoves and all the house and kitchen
furniture and also one sewing machine now in my house being
in Howard County on the Washington turnpike Road where I
now reside  Witness my hand and seal this             day of
